and Safety Policy Company policy on
Health, Safety & Welfare at work in accordance with section 2(3) of the
Health and Safety at Work act 1974.
Company Health and Safety and Welfare Polcy Statement
it is the policy of Cransford Polythene Ltd. that all
reasonably practicable steps will be taken to provide safe and healthy
working conditions and that the Health, Safety and Welfare of employees,
sub-contractors, suppliers and members of the general public will be
protected at all times.
All supervisory staff and any other employee who
authorises work to be carried out at anytime, are responsible for ensuring
that adequate Health, Safety and Welfare facilities are made availlable
and implemented.
The Health and Safety at Work act 1974 and all relevant
regulations are to be complied with at all times and all employees should
contribute towards making work areas as safe as possible by continuously
appraising working practices and ensuring that the safest possible methods
are employed.
All employees and sub-contractors are expected to provide
and maintain safe work places and work environments, safe systems and
methods of work without risks to themselves or others and to promote high
standards of Heath, Safety and Welfare.
The operation of this policy will be monitored by the
works manager who is responsible for safety.
Instruction and information on Health, Safety and Welfare
matters are contained in the company's Health and Safety procedures
manual. A copy of the manual is available for information of those who
work on the Company premises.
This policy has been approved by the directors of the
Company. It is the duty of everyone involved to adhere to the policy at
all times.
